Move over, Nostradamus. There’s a new oracle in town.
My trusted financial advisor Delphi, gazing into her crystal screen, sees a series of future Wall Street Journal  headlines that foretell major corporate mergers and acquisitions in the coming decades. Together they tell a social science fiction story of one possible human future.

Exxon-Mobil merges with Google, becomes ExxonGoogle ("one-stop shopping for all your energy and information needs")
ExxonGoogle partners with Bank of America, acquires NSA
Raytheon merges with Dow Chemical
MIT acquires Monsanto (genetically-modified seed division)
ExxonGoogle acquires Raytheon-Dow and MIT
Canada partners with Climate GeoEngineering Inc
PanAmerica (Northern Hemisphere Division, formerly US Inc) annexes Canada
Shanghai and Hong Kong merge, secede from 'Old China'
PanAmerica acquires ShangKong
PanAmerica merges with ExxonGoogle, changes name to Globatron
India Inc acquires Europa
Globatron acquires India Inc
Globatron asserts exclusive rights to Sun, encounters scattered opposition
Globatron’s Raytheon-Dow and Pharma divisions pacify opposition
Globatron declares 'world peace'

Game over
Reset?
