Gazing into my crystal screen, I’m getting a sharp image of the future of American corporate life in the year 2030. I see vast business empires, and even entire industries mutating, hybridizing and merging to create new capitalist life forms beyond anything we can imagine today.
In one hypothetical universe, these are the twenty largest corporations in the United States in the year 2030:
What emerging post-industrial industries am I failing to foresee? Virtual foods? Artificial emotion? Military nanobot swarms? Pharmafarms? Who knows?
This is just my own 2030 vision. What’s yours?
