From what I hear, this is a terrible time to be considering law school. Tuition rates are extortionary. Student loan burdens are crushing. Job prospects after graduation are dimmer than a flashlight when you need it.
There’s only one branch of law that’s booming these days, and that’s secret law.
Our secret legal system runs parallel to the visible one, but it operates behind a one-way mirror, shielding us from truths we can’t handle. Thus we have secret information policies protecting classified documents. Secret courts such as FISC that decide behind closed doors whether shadowy organizations like NSA and ''''' '' may covertly surveil our phone records, e-mails, and '''''''' room activities. Covert police and military operations at home and abroad that protect us from a dangerous world. Secret CIA prisons at undisclosed locations around the globe holding unidentified suspects indefinitely without due process. There are even underground bunkers in '''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''' built to house government officials in the event of a national emergency.
It takes plenty of trained personnel to administer such a vast and growing legal apparatus. That’s why there must be secret law schools to initiate legal security specialists into the hidden mysteries of the covert justice system – specialists with access only to those pieces of the security puzzle they need to know to perform their clandestine duties.
The hardest thing about pursuing a career in secret law is finding a law school that teaches it. I’m told (I can’t say by whom) that such schools exist. The trick is in knowing where to look for them.
I hear the hardest thing about getting into a secret law school is finding one. If you manage that, you’ve already completed half the application process. That’s all I can say at this time.
As for you scofflaws out there who may be tempted to flout the hidden code of justice by dissenting from invisible authority, I say to you: Do not think for a moment that your dissent will go unnoticed and unpunished, whether by fine or imprisonment, by ''''''''''' boarding, or worse.
And if you’re even thinking about stepping over invisible legal lines, remember this. Ignorance of the secret law is no defense.
